Where is your show Christian?

Wow, Michael k at Dlisted is gonna go nuts with joy over James' eyebrow situation! He loves a cool eyebrow.

Love his Audrey Hepburn brows.

Common Sense said...

Gawd, I would kill for those eyebrows!

Covergirl/boy is gorgeous!

OMG! I always thought Common Sense was an old man! Ha! She has a lot of masculine energy.

Seems like only yesterday, CommonSense was posting "oh, can we stop with this first woman president crap?" And here we are, with Christian himself posting about the first male for Cover Girl, and Common only wants the eyebrows. Why don't you tell Christian Dion the first male making history for Cover Girl is him talking crap?

Common Sense said...

Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving.

Cover Girl tests on animals. Makeup for the unethical, me-me-me crowd.

Dale Carnegie? He was born in 1888!

Less than one day after you schooled us on calling Hillary the possible first woman president, and calling it CRAP to note that, you let the historical distinction slide in this post. Guess in your eyes, only men are allowed pride of place when it comes to unique accomplishments.

"Oh please, Miss Common Sense, may we be happy a woman may become the first US lady president?" "No, it's crap." Welcome to the 1800s when you are around.

I'd watch James Charles on any show. He should have entered Americas got Talent, The Voice, and So You Think You Can Dance, and just stood there and let us die over his gorgeousness.

That's his zexy face

Now, now, be nice. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and everyone should have the good grace to accept it, even though we may not agree with it.

I love you!

Weird. The whole campaign. Unless their new target is cross-dressers and transgenders who do not know what makeup to choose -- P.S. CoverGirl -- they use MAC. Smells of a brand trying to stay relevant and going for PR and shock value to build their sales. Whatever.

3:54' It's defending our joy against a troll. She doesn't have an inalienable right to tell people how wrong they are, or how wrong it is to do this or that, or how crappy our choices are, without being challenged. I'll continue to call her out and defend my friends, and myself, and our joy, from her scornful posts. I am never going to be so lackadaisical that I let a troll's so-called "opinion" stand when it is a direct attack on something as innocent as the pride in seeing the first woman president.

You need to wake up and smell the crap coming from her direction. You will be covered with it someday and you will find yourself abandoning the dismissive attitude you have today.

Anonymous said...

12.24 - No, I will 'not be covered with it someday' as you put it. As you have chosen to respond to whatever you have chosen to not like about this person's post. You need to relax. Have you thought about doing some meditation?

Here are some thoughts posted online about people who post hate anonymously:

"Haters hate themselves...a hate that stems from fear, as do all negative aspects of life. When have people who truly love and respect themselves, and others, spewed hatred?

"They have something in their life that is fueling frustration. Something deep like a lack of adequacy or lack of accomplishment. This creates anger that needs to find a target."

"Fear creates anger, frustration, feelings of inadequacy and lack of accomplishment. Which manifests as self-anger. Which can be manifested as self-hatred. Which is difficult to own, so is taken out on others. Which stems from fear. IMHO, of course..."

"It is DEFINITELY (and POWERFULLY) true that someone who hates anything
or anyone actually hates him or herself. The reason they experience
self-loathing doesn't matter because it can be because of a million
different things (that's why psychologists get rich talking to you for
years). There will always be something else to hate yourself for if you
go down that road. All that is necessary is that a hater realizes that
they are actually just hating him or herself and the realization its
self is the cure. Self-hate is entertained (in a sick way) by many
people - maybe 40-50% of the human population, and people who don't do
it simply don't understand how it is possible to hate your self...thus
the term "haters." Peace on earth is possible."`

"In my opinion, women haters are the worst---especially to other women. Why can't all women support each other more? I don't usually participate in forums or comment on blogs because no matter what I say---there's always some female that comes along with a "hater" mentality and attitude---I can say "Have a nice day everyone" and BE-ATCH will come along and actually have something negative to say about that. I just sum it up to good ole traditional and destructive female jealousy. What else could it be? If women would just support each other---the world would be a much better place--because we all go through the same problems and trials in life at some point. It's sad that life is like this---It's sad that people take their frustrations out on total strangers---but that's the way it is. I go out of my way to be nice and supportive to all women--but do you think they reciprocate? Most of the time- no way."

"FACT: Haters don`t really hate you. In fact, they hate themselves because you`re a reflection of what they wish to be."

Thank you for writing that Common Sense and I am a female.

Some people who write on this forum are so horrible.

Let's take a few deep breaths...

Common "Rense", you stir it up then you back down with platitudes.
11:46, Donald Trump would be glad to give you a hand or two. Meditate on that.

Anon 12:18 A.M., I do agree that there are a few individuals who post here that are bullies, but there are so many other good people who make up for their lack.

Don't let these anonymous haters get you down.

Like "Common Sense" isn't anonymous? It's so anonymous, you don't even have any.
