 Pope Scandals/Church
I kind of feel sorry for this Pope.
As he tries to bring much needed change.
He's going to come up against the old guard Papal Wall.
Sad to say he won't be able to climb it.

Catholic priest have to abstain from sex he broke the rules but then most of them have.

It strengthens the spirit and mind from bad energy.

That priest looks like Barry Manilow. I guarantee there are many more gay priests. This one got sacked because he is a practicing gay which is a no-no.

If it strengthens the spirit and mind from bad energy, why are so many old ladies who aren't getting any such crazy old bats.

If it was that important to the catholic church, they would have made it a rule to neuter all priests.

And, if that worked my chihuahua wouldn't be having wild sex with a stuffed tiger as I type this.

Anonymous 1:19 AM you are funny!

I agree. Didn't I hear or read he's not in the best of health either? This job is exhausting on it's own. But to constantly work against a body entrenched in old world thinking, who could beat that? I'm sorry but up against the ire of God and sin, Catholics are weak fighters. I should know I grew up in that church.

They were miserable before they entered the church.

If you're unhappy, sex doesn't make a difference. Some people are just miserable no matter what. You can't love someone who hates life, themselves and blames everyone.

Anonymous said...

It's unnatural not to have sex. The church needs to change.

The Pope did NOT meet with that psycho from Kentucky. I am so sick of correcting people on that. The Vatican came out and made a statement that the Pope did not meet with her in private, she was standing in line with hundreds of other people and he shook her hand when he walked by along with everyone else's hand. It's all the lie by the right wing smear merchants and it blew up in their collective faces.

Please STOP allowing them to intrench their lie further by spreading it. Read the PolitcusUSA story. The CNN article is misleading and it is as accurate as Fox News, in other words...not accurate.

Read this article for true account, http://www.politicususa.com/2015/10/02/pope-francis-throws-kim-davis-bigotry-bus.html

For the record, I am well aware of all the copycat sites and "media" outlets that simply repeated the same thing and that is very sad. Not a one of them researched what happened and just took her word for it and they all got burned. You have to dig to find the truth anymore and it's sad.

Maria, just because there are problems in the church, it doesn't mean that Catholics are weak.

Anonymous said...

Really? Atheist jerk.

Anon3:12 The Pope gave an interview to a Reuters news source days before the so called meeting where he DID support her and her position. If you stand by the truth you have to dig deeper yourself. As for her invitation to join the meet and greet that was set up by papal nuncio Carlos Vigano. No friend of the Pope, evidently. For Carlos intents and purposes, this worked like a charm and did no good to the Popes image.

The highest levels of religion are where God and the devil battle it out.

Apparently the Pope is going to fire the archbishop who tried to set up this "meeting" to have the Pope appear Anti-gay, but he didn't endorse her position, which is what is really important. Her agenda is one of hate and she is totally in the wrong. That is a FACT.

I mean, some don't like the Catholic Church, but I have some respect because they were the only church that actually took on exorcisms. Got to give them props for that.

Here's a link for Norah Black and anon 3:12: reuters.com/article/2015/09/28/us-pope-usa-idUSKCNORS
Pope Francis said on Monday government officials have a
"human right" to refuse to discharge a duty, such as issuing marriage licences to homosexuals, if they feel it violates their conscience.

He supports Kim Davis's position 100%. No one has been fired but the gay priest who dared to be honest. Kim Davis would not have received the invite if the Pope didn't condone what she did. Everyone who goes before the Pope is vetted, and he reads their dossier and gives his personal approval on each person. You two act like you're experts on this matter but you f'd up on the most important fact: the Pope supports what Kim Davis did. Period.

As the author of the posts wood-shedding 3:12 and Norah Black I want to make it perfectly clear that this Pope has lost my good wishes and admiration. His dangerous and naive position once again puts the rainbow community squarely in the sights of every moron with ill-judged intentions.

People who follow God's word are not morons with ill-judged intentions. The comments and the tones of the stories on this site are very revealing on different levels.
