Oscar Best Actor nod.................

So Leo DiCaprio got his Best Actor "Oscar" nod,
 for his role in
"The Wolf of Wall St".
Told ya it was going to be a great year for him.
Especially professionally.
Stay tuned.......
For 2016 ...

"Stay tuned..." Does this mean you think he will or not? This is Leo's difficulty, even when he gets nominated, someone else always takes the gold. Pete.

Congratulations to him. This nomination is completely deserved. If he does n't win, I wonder if the nomination alone will be enough to make this year a "great" one for him?

I really want Leo to win the Oscar this year. But he is not the one who is favourite to win. We will see. March 4th seems like a long time to wait to find out. P.J.

Dicaprio just won a Critics Choice Awatd for Best Actor in a Comedy. Again his acceptance speech was all about others. The guy has class. However, Matthew McConaghey also won again in the main best actor category. So, it looks like that's who Dicaprio will lose the Oscar to as the Academy does n't have comedy specific categories. It's a shame. McConaghey has only found his acting chops in the last 2-3 years. This is his first Oscar nod yet he seems a shoe-in for the win. Dicaprio has been consistently excellent since he was just 15 years old. He's on his fourth nomination and yet will most likely lose out. :-(

I'm sorry but I really want Chiwetel Ejiofor to win! He was amazing in Twelve Years a Slave.

I hope I am wrong but I doubt that there is much to 'stay tuned' for. It seems clear that Dicaprio award winning streak most likely ended with his win tonight at the critics choice awards.

There are only 3 major awards shows left in the 2014 awards.season and you don't need to be a psychic to know that Dicaprio is not winning the remaining awards.

Screen Actors Guild awards - he can't win. He's not nominated.

Bafta - Won't win because they will award Brit Chiwotel Ejiofor instead

Oscar - won't win because Matthew McConaghey will instead (although that pains me as Dicaprio deserves to.win).

The poster above makes a very good point. No offence intended Mr Dion but your predictions relating to Leo have n't worked out so far (he did n't win awards for J Edgar or Great Gatsby as predicted and the current girlfriend lasted beyond Christmas). So I won't hold my breath for more Dicaprio even though he deserves them. Paul

Looking online for psychic predictions relating to Oscars Best Actor 2014 reveals no consensus. So far, I found 1 who says Bruce will win. 1 Who believes that Chiwotel Ejiofor will win and 1 who says Matthew McConaghey will win. Well they can't all be right. Meanwhile, the view of awards commentators is that Dicaprio has NO chance of a win. What a shame if true. Jill.

Arrgghh! Commentators have already started with their "Dicaprio will win an Oscar some other year" spiel. Here we go. If I had a dollar for everytime I have heard this I would be very wealthy indeed. But with every new awards season Leo's streak of failing to win continues :-(

Matthew McConaghey is the only one being talked about for the Oscar win. However, Oscar voting continues until the end of February. Hopefully that time allows Leo to catch up and win. For those of you who prefer Ejiofor. He is guaranteed the Bafta win as that's his home turf. So even if he misses out on the Oscar he will not come out of awards season empty handed. That is not bad going considering this year is the first time Ejiofor has been up for any awards. I feel more sorry for the people who have many nominations over quite a few years and yet continue to lose out on the win.

I no it may not happen given that Matt McConaghey seems to be getting all the attention right now but I REALLY hope that Dicaprio wins the Oscar. He has had 4 nomination and even more snubs over a career that has already lasted more than 20 years. If he does n't win he will have to wait well over a year for another chance as he has no films due to be released in 2015 so he won't be eligible for 2015 Oscars.

UNBELIEVEABLE! The Academy announced that Leonardo has achieved a second Oscar nomination this year (1 for Actor, 1 as producer of WOWS). That's 5 nominations in total for him. The guy has been waiting 20 years for his first win and BUT he is going to lose out to McConaghey (a first time nominee). Why can't Dicaprio catch a break with the Academy??? :-(

Congratulations to Leonardo on his double oscar nods. If he can't win even when he.hads miltiple nods, I would n't blame him for getting p****d off. I have watched Dallas Buyers Club. Yes McConaghey lost a lot of weight for the role but I thought Leonardo's performance was a better all around one. I thought Chiwotel Ejiofor's performance was better than McConagheys too but he is winning all the big awards.
