Robsten was a fans invention Summit+Rob+Kristen benefited from. Robsten ended just when Twilight stuff got wrapped up, does anybody still think it was a coincidence? seriously? Just think it over and don't be so naive.
Regarding Rob, I guess he's doing now what he really wants but he should keep in mind that he's an actor who needs public, and people has got rather a pathetic image of his personal choices so maybe he should date a nice girl for a change even though it was only to quiet down rumors and show everybody that he can have a proper date.

He is keeping that in mind, and he's in excellent company. He's regarded very well in the film community. Fame is fickle, he's not building a fan base, he's building a good reputation as an actor. That will last far longer than anything else. He doesn't have to quiet rumors because the only rumors are about Kristen and her idiocy. He's off working and quiet as a mouse, it's the perfect play, she's out getting high and drinking in public. He's out filming and building his career into exactly the one he wants. He's winning in every way here.

Christian what about Kristen's relationship with Alicia Cargile? Rumors are there's more than just a friendship there and she hasn't been seen with a guy for a while!

Unlike you, I don't think they love each other, IF they ever were in love, it was over before the cheating, and what went down afterwards was what they contractually had to do till Twilight franchise wrapped up. Like CD always says, it was a big PR stunt after the cheating, but I can agree with you on that they had a toxic relationship before july 2012 since you can't stand being in a fake relationship for years unless there's some sort of feeling or something scandalous to hide like being gay.
I'd really like CD could enlighten us a bit more about the truth, since somehow they seem reluctant to lose their "connexion". Things like you mentioned about their dogs, Rob neither having a girlfriend nor dating any girl, Kristen the same though she's always hanging out with Alicia... It makes you think there's still something between them.
