Re GC it's a long way to Sept CD
He is obviously someone in a great deal of pain. Being overweight is very taxing for the body. I had to have bariatric surgery to lose about 100 pounds, ---resorting to the removal of 85% of my stomach. Without it, I was unable to walk event ½ a block. And I am still obese. I would need to lose another 100 pounds to be at a normal weight. But I can walk today. It is a daily struggle.
I understand this condition, being one who has had a binge eating disorder since childhood. And it is a DISORDER! Rob needs compassion. I know fully the struggle with obesity. It is a complex problem, which needs to be addressed comprehensively. His weight is simply a SYMPTOM of his body, emotional state and spiritual state out of balance. I feel, he is someone in much pain. It affects your self-esteem as well. Given his environment, this poor soul had/has no chance to shine. I do hope he will, through the Grace of the Divine, overcome this. He is a good kid. He needs the right kind of help.
