We are about to see an upsurge,
in these horrifying events.
They will come which and fast.
Many from places,
that will cause shock and horror.
As well as a surprising backlash.
From within those that once believed in them.

So is he staying there due to her, or the dogs. Ermm. My bets on the dogs. Before long we'll see the moving vans. As he gets to the point of no return. We're reaping what we've sown - good and bad.
I think some souls don't want their loved ones to remember Christmas (or any special occasion really) as a sad time that they passed so they hold on a bit until it's over. Especially if they have young children.
The other side is someone does die during the holiday season and it makes it more poignant every year and you feel blessed to have had them as long as you did.
