Meredith Vergara has a new talk show.
Which starts next week.
It'll be a hit, if the powers that be, give it a chance.
But I doubt it...

So sorry about this news. Daytime TV is difficult. I like Meredith a lot. She has class and heart. They should have given her more time to fine tune her show and find its niche. She deserved it. I hope she goes on to even better things.

T.W. I like Meredith but I didn't like the show. I felt she made herself look too goofy instead of more interesting and professional. I felt like she was stooping to grab rating instead of relying on her obvious strengths. She was the coolest View personality IMO. Next to Joy. On her own show she was some other person.

I also felt the same with Katie Couric. Everyone is so desperate to be the new Oprah, the new powerhouse face of talk, they don't relax enough to build on their own appeal. They listen to producers and studio heads too much. I'm no genius but I knew these shows would not last.

When I used to tweet Couric that I liked her but her show was bad and she could do better, she got mad and blocked me. LOL I was sincerely trying to warn her. Had no idea her skin was so thin.

Katie is fake it is about building a rapport with your audience and not being Oprah there is only one Oprah be your own best version, not a replica.
