So as he has just murdered his uncle and various other people including his ex-girlfriend there will be a bit of a quiet spell from this tinpot God. Watch Spring onwards for more sabre rattling. Plus a very close call, to the rest of the world when he very nearly presses the button. Then someone will step in and sort him out. Mind you he'll still keep knocking people off left, right & centre. Even a couple of really close "loved" ones.

Are you in Texas? North Carolina sucks dirty di*k and we want out, we are willing to leave the country it is that bad.
You better pray you don't lose your job because new laws will not give you food stamps unless you are a senior citizen, a minor, a disabled person, or a full time student. You better hope you don't live where there is a big kkk population (Eastern NC). You better hope you can afford private health insurance, the ObamaCare rates are astronomical and Blue Cross Blue Shield is going to drop ObamaCare plans.
On the bright side our colleges and universities are top notch.
As far as moving, we want out. Public housing in Raleigh is an option. I am waiting on a ruling from the Veteran's Administration and the money that could come can finance a move out of this racist state. I know racism is everywhere but I am telling you it is so bad here the lighter skinned blacks are racist towards the darker skinned blacks. I even thought about moving to Costa Rica because they speak English and have a large expatriate community. Better a hurricane than an earthquake. You can see the hurricane coming.
God has the answer. Maybe he will share it through you guys.

I think the key here would be as you stated leave.
I have friends who have moved from NY to NC and they have not run into any of those issues. They are quite thrilled to be in NC.
Set your goals and get out.
Texas is great!! There are opportunities to make great money.
I have been there a few times. I don't know a thing about Arizona except my one GF moved there from Pennsylvania and she is dying to leave.
Washington State is beautiful my husband has a dream to live there after we are finished with NY.
NY is too much a co worker of mine is trying to find a 3 bedroom in the burbs and that is 1900 a month at the cheap rate.
Its nuts so Texas may be your best bet. Lots of opportunity.
Get yours love no need to be where you are. I hope everything works out sooner than later.
