Black man can't have anything but a bullet with his name on it in Amerikkka. He was just waiting for his child to get off of the school bus. He was holding a book not a gun. Now ppl see what we African Americans been saying. Racism is really but this time, the revolution is being televised. RIP Gil Scott Herron.

It is hearsay that this guy was holding only a book, as a gun was retrieved from the scene. Just as it was hearsay that Michael Brown had his hands up, which turned out not to be the case. Let's let the investigation run its course before jumping to uninformed conclusions, shall we?

The local news reported the victim did not have a gun in the car or on his person. Multiple eyewitnesses say he was reading a book while waiting for his child.

The Democratic nominee Roy Cooper is from my area. He has a history of saying one thing and doing another, unlike the current governor Pat McCrory. NC has always suffered under a Republican governor. Did you know you can't get food stamps if you work less than 20 hours a week? How are people going to eat without a job?

The system is designed to keep the poor at the bottom. Can't have everyone being upwardly mobile or the whole socioeconomic system as we know it would collapse. Messed up but true.

Yes, yes, please keep the people of Charlotte safe. Breaking my heart to see the anguish and anger suffered by so many and how it continually gets dismissed by prejudiced and plain stupid lawmakers.

We won't know until the facts come in.
I'm not taking up for a convicted felon who has guns in the past and been to jail for years until I get the whole truth.
He was arrested for shooting at police officers in Texas
Decades ago
Many gun violations
Deadly weapon with intent to kill
Assault on a female
And people are all upset about this guy
Maybe if he shot at cops once he will do it again
Just maybe ...
He was sentenced to 7 years in jail with a deadly weapon
No I'm not white
No I'm not an Uncle Tom
I care about this because I was in a relation with an ex that killed the next girlfriend after me
I know gun violence straight up and being abused
So me cry March please
However let's see how this angel's story with a book pans out.
