2. The BAFTAs have an award named after or given out in memory of Alexander Korda. The man played the casting couch game. So much for the MeToo movement.
From what I saw I am not old enough to have seen and appreciate her work. Plus the tv shows aired in Britain. I swear, Brits got all the good stuff. I am still laughing at/with Fernella.

Joanna Lumley is a very good actress and comes across as a very genuine person too. She also does documentaries and her voice is so calming too. She is class. She also is an ambassador for the British Gurkahs too.

Thank you for sharing! Joanna Lumley came across as a very nice woman when I watched the video. She seems like someone you want as a friend. She speaks well too. I notice that because I do not speak well. Britain is lucky to have her.
As for JLaw, blind item claims she is taking Xanax with beta blockers. Even if the blind is about someone else a lot of people in the forum say she is on something. Chickens come home to roost, she had better watch herself.
The male leads I'm completely sick of is that Strahan dude, Stallone, Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise, Cavell I can't stand, also Bradley Cooper. I can't stand those actors and sometimes skip movies that they are in. Some of these actors and actresses are considered A level are just overrated in my opinion.
but hate it when these punks have this "entitlement crown" on their heads- and seem to think that they're better than others. Some sort of narcissism crap. Everybody is dealing with a problem- my solution ; talk to someone, get help and dont be a bitch.

When I watched the baftas, I couldn’t believe Jennifer said what she said and how she said it. I love Joanna Lumley. She’s a very warm, witty and classy lady. She’s campaigned for the Gurkhas and done a lot of travel programmes recently. I thought she was brilliant as the Baftas host. Certainly far superior than Stephen Fry. Jennifer needs to go down a peg or two. Does anyone remember the exchange with that journalist a few years ago. She’s become a real diva.
I don't think prior generations of actors that people got sick of seeing them? Perhaps it's because there was more mystery in those days and the internet was non-existent. I think if you are in the public eye you should keep some mystery about you and be professional at all times, just as if you were an employee of a big company. Nowadays, we see and hear everything about these people. I think that might be why we get sick of their faces, and their antics.
The old classic movies were so good instead of the constant crap that is manufactured by the American film studios today.

Yes, Jennifer Lawrence is in every bloody movie, on countless magazine covers and television entertainment shows.
She won an Oscar and was nominated for three other roles. These days, you get an Oscar for nothing whereas back in earlier times, the actors "worked" for an Oscar. To receive an Oscar, it was something special.
