I just got a notice from FEMA. We have flash flood warning until SUNDAY NIGHT. My area is on the list. My county is also under a tropical storm earning.
Friends, please pray for us. Eastern North Carolina does not have a lot of resources. That is why a lot of us have stayed put. I doubt Georgia is prepared because they were not in Florence's original projected path.

And 700,000 people are without power. And emergency services are no longer responding. As it’s too dangerous. Thinking of you!
North Carolina made money from farming, textiles, and manufacturing. We are in the southern United States. Textiles and manufacturing jobs went the way of the Dodo bird when the North American Free Trade Agreement was passed.
Also, the school systems in eastern NC are $hit. Parents send their kids to school to come home dumb. If you keep people dumb they are only qualified to work in the fields and in the manufacturing plantations.
STEM companies do not want to come here due to the people's lack of education.
All the STEM jobs are in the Raleigh Durham area. Eastern NC is rural. Farmers are at the mercy of the elements. One of the rivers got contaminated with a chemical called GEN-X. Camp Lejeune Marine base had contaminated water as well.
