Well said CD. I don't understand why people want to have any sort of gun or weaponry in the first place.Please don't give me the statement we have the right to bare arms.I used to live in Australia and when the Port Arthur Massacre happened the Government at the time changed the law with in weeks of it happening. There has NEVER been another one since so yes it can be done. NO ONE in my opinion has the right to own any guns or military weaponry like that and I don't care what country you are living in. I now live in New Zealand and like Australia it has very tough gun laws. That to me is how it should be the world over. Like CD has stated GUNS KILL that is what they are made for.

Hmmmm. The historical reason the Founding Fathers wanted us to have that right is legit.

However, they did not have assault rifles like Uzis and AK-47s back then.

Assault rifles are designed to kill, how is that self defense?

You can't use them for hunting food, the animal would nearly be obliterated.

If you choose to own a handgun please learn how to properly use and store it. Please learn how to properly store ammunition. Please know people who own firearms are more likely to be harmed by someone using that firearm against them.
