Service members are not concerned about being raped by a transgendered person.
I think Trump is concerned about paying for transgender service members to have gender reassignment surgery. The government does currently pay for them to have hormonal treatments.
I find it interesting the government will pay for biological males to have hormone treatments to be more feminine but provides very limited gynecological care for biological females. Females who report sexual assaults and post traumatic stress disorder are still not taken seriously. Their VA claims are more likely to be denied even if they can prove the assault took place.
As another example, some women require specific types of birth control pills to treat medical conditions. There are over 200 formulations. The Veterans Administration/Department of Defense will cover only a handful of formulations. How is that fair?
Having said that, if a mentally sound HUMAN wants to be target practice for the enemy, let them.
Military service is no cakewalk for any person, I don't care what one's orientation or gender identity is.
Better to have volunteers than to bring back the draft.
