Well Boris has a problem. Actually 2.
Scotland voted to remain in the European Union.
And Johnson's or anyone else's persuasion to get them to leave the union too ..like the UK..
Has only resulted in Scotland considering another referendum. For Independence.
But.... a large section of the Scotland population are going to say Naw Naw Naw to that too.
And then theres Northern Ireland, also part of United Kingdom.
Effectively British Territory so to speak.
Northern Ireland voted in the majority to leave the European Union.
And in Northern Ireland, Boris Johnson has the headache of keeping favour with the Democratic Unionist Party.
A bunch of hard line protestants.
But the burning issue for Boris to face there, is the border between Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland (Not British Territory).
And where it all meets up to the UK Border.
When the UK leaves the European Union. It will be in a sense shutting its borders. Tightly.
No free for all.. European Passport Holders to be passing through it freely. No. That ends.
But Boris has to solve what the Hell they are gonna do about Ireland as a whole.
Either closing off the border (Hard Border) between Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.
Or making it a Soft border. Where people can flow through freely.
Including, unfortunately undesirables.
Coming through it as an unlocked back door.
And I mean the terrorist element flowing through too.
If a Soft border happens. The UK will not get their desired tightly shut borders.
Because..It's a quick easy trip across the sea. To the UK.
Maybe a political situation in Ireland has to simmer to the surface out of all of this mess.
And a United Ireland is the outcome of it.
After some elections.
The thing is. The UK may hate the European Commission and what they see as an oppressive over governing of their lives.
But once they get a taste of Boris Johnson's rule it may not seem too bad in hindsight.
