I had a dream about Alexandra Grant. (Which in it's self is disturbing) This is what I saw in the dream. I SAW... Alexandra Grant is married. Not to Keanu Reeves. T he marriage took place around 9/10 years ago on the East coast of America. (Not New York City) I Saw She was in a very close relationship with this "Person" I See she was paid to do this... The person she is married to is of dubious character... This person has been "Away" for quite a while... (If you know what I mean) This person is threatening to return.. She will... To expose the marriage & other criminal behaviors they both had a part in. As I write this. Keanu Reeves & his team. Do not know of this. Alexandra, knows is still legally married. It will explain quite clearly why American actress Renee Zellweger gave her acceptance speech in a strong Southern accent.
Twitter blew up with questions and astonishment as to why she spoke with a definate Southern accent.
It was completely bizarre.
As she's not Southern. Doesn't normally have a deep Southern accent. And. Doesn't come from the South.
And yet she spoke like she did at The Golden Globes.
The only time she's ever done a Southern accent....was in a movie. 16 years ago...Called Cold Mountain.
Which I love by the way.
I thought Nicole Kidman was very good in it.
So dear 'appearance shape shifting' Renee was clearly high as the Empire State that night.
On cocaine.
There is no other rational explanation.
Very entertainig. Brave.
And well said.
But he also attacked Political Correctness at the same time. In a clever way. The way comedians can.

Texas is in the American South.
Why would it be strange for a person from the SOUTH to have a SOUTHERN ACCENT?!
Renee Z. is on record saying she suffers from anxiety. I know from first hand experience that anxiety can easily explain her speech.
Anyone suffering from anxiety would be a fool to take cocaine.
I saw her speech live.
I saw no problems with her speech. For someone with anxiety she did very well.
Not only that, she walked slowly and calmly as she went to the stage. Cocaine makes you hyper.
Evidence is not proof. I see no proof Renee Z. was high on cocaine.
There are consequences when you say certain things without THEIR permission.
Ask Joan Rivers what happened after she said in her tv show that Michelle Obama is a biological male and after Joan said on her show she was tired of celebrities hiding one eye and that “We know you have handlers, stop hiding one eye and telling people about it.”

Further... Renee Zellweger has confused people outside of the U.S before.
About her identity.
In fact, anyone who did not see her movie, Jerry Maguire in the 1990.
But like millions of others, did see her later, in Bridget Jones Diary...and thought she was an English actress.
I know I did.
Because she did a perfect Home Counties English accent in that movie.
I found out later she was American.
She's also done sequels to the Bridget Jones movie.
And also, played a very famous English lady, Beatrix Potter, in the movie Miss Potter
She's very good at 'accents'. Especially British ones.
And has earned a reputation for it.
Perhaps that's why Twitter blew up with questions about her accent because they thought it was just another example of how good she is at different 'accents'.
And another reason why so many people asked questions is. Her real life accent changes.
I watched a video of Renee Zellweger being interviewed by Charlie Rose in 2001. The American accent she has in that interview has very little resemblance to the American accent she used on the night of The Golden Globes.
Why?
I dont know.
But maybe her accent shocked people because they had not heard her talk that way before.
Who knows. Maybe she's been hanging out in Texas ...for 10 years.
Maybe the movie sudios told her in the early part of her career to play down her Texan accent.
And tgerefore peoole havent heard it before.
When she played Roxie Hart in the musical movie, Chicago.
She probably had a Chicago accent.
Who knows.
But no doubt she did it very well.
She's completely changed her appearance lately with plastic surgery.
In fact she's unrecognisable to how she looked before.
As for Southern accents, there are several. Some thicker than others. I lived in Texas for a while and I say again I did not hear a Texan or a Southern accent by Renee.
As such, I will break this down in case I caused some confusion.

I say again, Renee did not speak with a Southern accent during her speech. I do not know why anyone who hears her speak thought that. Southern accents are unmistakable.

North Carolina is nowhere near Texas. It would take me 3 days NONSTOP to get there if I travelled by car. Also, I am not familiar with her because we are both from the South. I am familiar with her because I read.

I disagree. Unless Renee always used a British accent when she spoke to foreign press then she did not cause any confusion. When she did press for those films the American press always asked her how she did those accents so well. It was a frequent topic of conversation. It’s not my fault people didn’t bother to do research about her. Furthermore, an actor faking an accent to do a character should not come as a shock.
It’s like saying Americans think Vivian Leigh was Southern because she did Gone With the Wind and A Streetcar Named Desire. First off, it is well known Americans threatened to boycott GWTW because she was British. Second, you can hear her British accent come out every now and then in GWTW. I should put British in quotation marks. She was born and raised in India. I can hear it whenever she pronounces the letter “T.”

Critical thinking skills are no longer taught in American public schools. Our children are no longer taught to respond, they are taught to react. Mass media and social media are programming society to turn our brains off and to accept everything we personally agree with as fact.

For an accent to be authentic the actor must practice it every chance they get. Renee is a character actor. That is what character actors do.

I went to YouTube and compared the Charlie Rose vid with the GG speech. Renee looked like she had recently gotten Botox and was struggling to speak because of it. She could barely move the muscles in her face. That would explain the difference.

Maybe. She was absent from Hollywood for quite a while. She said Hollywood pressures her to be thin and to alter her face. She also said she suffered from extreme anxiety which was made worse after an ex abused her. If you recall, she married Kenny Chesney & then filed for an annulment on the grounds of fraud. People noticed she had her arm in a cast around that time. People also speculate Chesney is gay. CDAN says he is. CDAN also claims they were bearding for each other. I don’t know but she could claim fraud if he was loving to her before they got married and he totally changed afterwards (bait and switch).

You are most likely correct. Have you ever noticed American newscasters and actors tend to all have the same accent regardless of where they are from? That accent you hear is one of the Midwestern accents. They are trained to speak that way because that particular American accent is one of the easiest to understand and tends to be easy on the ears.
