And he was living with a much older woman called Diana Hyland. Also an actress.
It wasn't long before, she developed breast cancer and died.
He went through the horror of her, Diana Hyland having to have a double mastectomy in 1977.
But she was dead by March that year.
And he was apparently devastated by this.
It has always appeared strongly, that it was an authentic relationship. Despite the age difference.
Because he claims he never really got over that loss.
Of Diana Hyland.
But 1977, the horrifying year, was also John Travolta's breakout year.
When his first major success happened with the movie, Saturday Night Fever.
And the music that went with it.
I don't think anyone who's ever seen that movie. Can forget his dance ability.
But loss haunts John Travolta's life.
Is it because he's a devout Scientologist?
And he's involved in a so called Church. That harms people.
And I think there's plenty of evidence. That he is bisexual. But I tend to see that as his business. There's no way he could have had such a huge successful movie career back in the 1970's. If he came out as gay.

But I disagree. From what I see.

I have a funny story to tell.... hubby looks like Cat stevens - in the early days of the late 70's... hubby always traveled to Jamaica.... before all of it started being Americanized... People mistook him for Cat Stevens at Rick's bar... Hubby was so high he laughed he even thought he was.. so they gave him a guitar asked him to play... so he got up on stage and started playing....and then he said wAIT IM NOT CAT STEVEns.... hahahaahahahah.... but he looked like him. I love Cat Stevens songs... Did you know he used to date Carly Simon.... She wrote a song about him that became popular..called Constipation... oh I mean "Anticipation"........ hahahaaha... I think you are very lucky you married a man who looked exactly like the singer, Cat Stevens.
Actally I've only learned recently that Cat Stevens dated singer Carly Simon.
Her song, You're so Vain. Definately wasn't about Cat Stevens. He's the opposite to vain.
Carly Simon should have stuck with him.

I often wondered who the girl in Wild World was.

I love the joke! There was a SNL skit, Bill Murray was selling a drink called “Swill” & they used the song “Anticipation.”
Masks are mandatory here in North Carolina. Of course, people with legitimate medical issues & children under 2 years of age are exempt. I was at the Emergency Room last week & couldn’t wear a mask due to the nature of my injury.
But guess what. People aren’t wearing them. Some who do aren’t wearing them properly. You need to get a good seal & both your nose & mouth must be covered.
