Mmmm... Danishes...
I've never been to Denmark
But heard it's beautiful.
Copenhagen looks like an amazing city.
It's called Sankthansaften.
It's a bit like the celebration for St John The Baptist. That they call Sankt Hans. Celebrated during the summer solstice.
These Danish rituals are Pagan rituals historically.
And later adapted to Christianity.
The Danish celebrate it with singing, get-togethers. And bonfires.
At this celebration...They also have a puppet of a witch.
The legend is that witches are set free and fly on their broomsticks to Bloksbjerg Mountain.
Which is considered a Witch mountain.
Also, apparently Sankt Hans means Saint John in Danish.
