I expect this new book will validate some of the commentary given by her father and sister.

Pearl sounds like more self-indulgent crap to me.

As she realises she's not getting the Princess treatment she had expected to automatically be entitled to, her mood will darken and the effect on her marriage will snowball. Ties in well with your prediction about divorce. You can't have it both ways love!
