Yes. Gettin rid of these low energy light bulbs is just one of many environmental regulations that Obama brought in and is currently regulated by the U.S Dept of Energy.
And Trump is ending it.
In fact these energy efficient light bulbs he hates....as far back 2007 were being phased in. And old incandescent lights were being phased out with Presidwnt George W Bush. He kicked this off originally. As a regulation.

I don’t like the new light bulbs either. You can’t trash them because they are toxic. Some communities refuse to pick them up for disposal. My community doesn’t but we get in trouble for putting those bulbs in the trash.
