I had a dream about Alexandra Grant. (Which in it's self is disturbing) This is what I saw in the dream. I SAW... Alexandra Grant is married. Not to Keanu Reeves. T he marriage took place around 9/10 years ago on the East coast of America. (Not New York City) I Saw She was in a very close relationship with this "Person" I See she was paid to do this... The person she is married to is of dubious character... This person has been "Away" for quite a while... (If you know what I mean) This person is threatening to return.. She will... To expose the marriage & other criminal behaviors they both had a part in. As I write this. Keanu Reeves & his team. Do not know of this. Alexandra, knows is still legally married. And it's the people who are pushing this change.
It's becoming clear, people today want companies to cut ties with this huge gun lobby, the NRA.
It's car rental companies, airlines, insurers. Plenty of companies today, want nothing to do with them.
NRA membership is no longer a desirable thing either I don't think.
The infamous, Oliver North did not even seek a 2nd term as it's President. He is the shady retired Lieutenant Colonel. Who was at the centre of the Iran/Contra scandal in the 1980's.
He claimed he left the NRA because Wayne LaPierre was behaving like a dictator.
Mmmmm.
And then the corruption within the NRA was starting to be revealed. Bit by bit.
Letitia James, the New York Attorney General sued them. For using charitable donations to fund a lavish lifestyle... for the senior leaders of the NRA.
It's been Letitia James who has been the most active in seeking to disolve the NRA.
The NRA is apparently subject to New York law because it's registered as a not-for-profit organisation in New York. Where it conducts most of it's transactions.
The NRA membership itself has been shaken lately. By trust issues. Caused by the corruption they've found out about.
Alot within the NRA membership are not happy that financial corruption has been going on. Some of them can see too, like the public. That the NRA has become just a front for gun manufacturers.
Something it was never intended to be.
The argument generally seems to be though.
Is the NRA a symbol of a constitutional right for ordinary Americans to keep and bear arms?
Seems to me. The argument is getting very blurry.
And shady.
Yes. And I wonder if the American Constitution needs a total update. To remove it maybe.
I know that may not sit well with some Americans.
But from a distant observers veiw, it seems to me the American Constitution is out of date.
And behind the times.
We change laws and ammend laws all the time, all over the world every day. That's a fact.
I know a Constitution isn't a law.
In fact it is a set of principles and precedents that that form the foundation of laws.
But it can change.
Apparently the 5th Ammendment provides 2 ways for the U.S Constitution to be changed.
It has, I believe been done before.
I don't know much about it.
But it proves it can change and develop. To reflect changes in society.
Laws often change to reflect changes in society.
The Constitution shouldn't be any different.
A good example is how laws have developed and changed to include crime done digitally.
Or changes to laws to control stalking.
Those laws have changed alot.
Anyway, the Right to Bear Arms is an emotional issue for alot of Americans. I get that.
And I get the feeling, for some people, they feel it's all they've got. In terms of personal power.
Which saddens me.
For the rest, it seems a practical issue. When so many other civilians with dark intent have guns.
It's hard for me to conceive of a world where alot of people in the community have guns.
Gardddd, if they had guns in this street I'm in now, when there were some arguments last year.
I can't imagine what would have happened.
Fortunately the crazy troublemaker guy across the road put his house up for sale. And moved. Last year.
He would have shot me. In the argument.
But I stood my ground with that F..cker.
On my driveway.
Got the cops to come and arrest him.
Clearly he was used to being arrested. Cause he waited on his verandah for them to come get him.
Got his name. Checked the court files online.
He had been in court 2 days before.
For assaulting his Asian gf.
If he'd had a gun that day he would have shot me and my old neighbour. Over virtually nothing.
This is why, I can actually see why Americans feel they need to own guns.
When there's craxy arseholes like that in the community.
And high ones.
That crazy guy across the road was clealy on Meth or something.
