I love the very old London expression 'Turn it up'.
It's so funny when they say it. Seems to mean, 'are you kidding?'
If anyone saw or sees the 2004 English movie called Vera Drake. It's in that. It's about a really kind lady. Who gets herself in alot of trouble. Because a clever working class London lady takes advantage of her. I just love listening to the family's accents in that movie.
It's a true story too. The film maker, Mike Leigh, made this movie about what happened to his mum.
So cute when men make movies, write books about their mum's.
