The Blue Moon will take place on Halloween this year. While a Blue Moon occurs every 2-3 years, it is much more rare for it to occur on Halloween. The last Blue Moon to occur on Halloween happened in 2001, and it won't happen again until 2039."
Hopefully the weather's good on Halloween for the kids and to see the Blue Moon.
