"Once in a blue moon: 2 full moons to take place in October including one on Halloween!
The Blue Moon will take place on Halloween this year. While a Blue Moon occurs every 2-3 years, it is much more rare for it to occur on Halloween. The last Blue Moon to occur on Halloween happened in 2001, and it won't happen again until 2039."
