While Harry and Meghan don’t use their titles, they will retain the His/Her Highness and Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
Harry is losing honorary military appointments, trusts, and patronages (which will revert to The Queen), but he’ll get to keep his Invictus Games Foundation, a Paralympic-style contest for service members which also incorporates the Endeavour Fund. As well as his personal charity, Sentebale, which was set up with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, combatting the HIV/AIDS pandemic in southern Africa. And Harry still works with WellChild, an organization that helps sick children and their families. Meghan has her own host of charity shit she gets to keep too, like her animal welfare charity, Mayhew, and the Smart Works Charity, which helps women get professional attire for career opportunities.
Harry and Meghan also gave their own statement saying they:
“Remain committed to their duty and service to the U.K. and around the world, and have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of official role… We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”
