Alice gave a thorough, detailed account of events that are nearly identical to those outlined in Josh Duggar police report that became public this week:
"In January, the whole family went to Chicago and taped Oprah Winfrey show ... As you may have noticed, that show never aired and it never will."
Alice then dropped the bombshell that The Oprah Winfrey Show staff members had been told that Josh had molested five minor girls. She writes:
"Yes, this is the truth ... They have been investigated to some length."
While parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar "call their son 'Precious Josh' and in their eyes he can do no wrong," Alice says they covered all this up:
"They have lied and lied about their son to protect him. In my eyes he is a CHILD MOLESTOR. HE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE HOME."

I have always had a favorite in this family of reality stars. I guess I will need to find a new one now. Well, honestly, probably not. Not really a family you want to get too involved with. Over the years I have highlighted some of their more memorable scams and sins, but they are taking it to a new level in their latest scam. Of course nothing I mention here will ever outweigh the covering up of all the horrible things done to some of the kids, but this is just about the scams, and my favorite is involved.
Somehow the favorite managed to include the person who was supposedly exiled/banned/shunned moving away but never really did and is with the favorite 24/7 as if they were together or something. Anyway, although they are involved and complicit and helping in the scam by soliciting money. Oh yes, money. They don't want anything useful or any supplies, they only want cash or cards they can convert to cash. If you do give them supplies or anything useful, they sell it on the black market rather than distributing it.
The ringleader is one of the members of the reality family, but he brought along members from a similar family. They are all pretending to be law enforcement and carrying badges in a country that has been devastated. They are commandeering relief packages from overseas saying they had been given contracts to control every bit of cargo. (Narrators's voice) They haven't.
They are stealing fuel and then billing NGO's for the fuel. It is a scam on a massive level and pales in comparison to the one two other members of the family pulled while out of the country.

Whether there was a raid or just a target letter directed at the reality family from the feds, it doesn't change the fact that at least one pre-teen distant family member was somehow living with the pedophile. Jim Bob on how Josh’s victims didn’t even know what he did until they were told: “He said he was just curious about girls and he had gone in and just basically touched them over their clothes while they were sleeping. They didn’t even know he had done it.”
Jim Bob on how it’s not like Josh raped anyone: “This was not rape or anything like that. It was touching someone over the clothes. It was, like, a few seconds. Then he came to us and crying told us what happened. As parents you feel like a failure when one of your kids does something wrong. If I had done more training this wouldn’t have happened. The truth is, kids will make their own choices, even though you have taught them right or wrong.”
Jim Bob on how they talked to other families who said the same kind of gross shit happened in their families (I didn’t know that the Duggars are friends with Woody Allen): “As we’ve talked to other parents and different ones since then, a lot of families since said that they’ve had similar things happen in their families. I mean, for us, of course, this is public shame that our son did this, back 12, 13 years ago.”
Michelle on how they felt like failed parents, which is why she went on to pop out 10,000 more children: “There was so much grief in our hearts. I think as parents we felt, ‘We’re failures.’ Here we try to raise our kids to do what’s right, to know what’s right and yet one of our children made some really bad choices and I think as a parent, we were just devastated.”
Jim Bob on how “safeguards” were put in place to protect their daughters: “Nothing ever happened in the girls’ bedrooms after that. We had safeguards that protected them from that. But there was another incident, two different instances where girls were laying on the couch.”
Jim Bob on why he decided to put their family under TLC’s spotlight when he knew they had this dark secret hiding in Michelle’s hair: “When they asked us to do that reality TV show, all of this had been taken care of five years before, and we had a clean bill of health from the state.”
Jim Bob on how Michelle Duggar comparing transgender people to pedophiles during a robocall isn’t hypocritical: “Michelle actually said pedophile in that [robocall]. And actually a pedophile is an adult that preys on children. Joshua was actually 14 and just turned 15 when he did what he did. Either Michelle and Jim Bob committed a sin by lie-telling or the fumes from their homemade laundry detergent ate the part of their brain that remembers things, because they contradicted the police report a lot and couldn’t really keep their stories straight. Jim Bob claims the girls didn’t know what had happened to them, but the police report claims that he found out about the abuse from one of the victims.

Faulkner said the files found on a computer owned by Duggar were among the “top five worst” he’s had to examine in the last 11 years — and allegedly included child sex abuse images and videos depicting children as young as 18 months.
Duggar’s confiscated devices also indicated use of anonymous web browser software called Tor, which bills itself as a way to defend against “tracking and surveillance,” according to the website.
Faulkner testified that investigators also uncovered a Linux partition on Duggar’s computer, which divided its hard drive into two independent sections, “Today” reported.
Investigators also found a program called Covenant Eyes, so-called accountability software billed to help people overcome porn addictions.

The program was registered to Duggar and his wife, Anna — who is expecting the couple’s seventh child — was set up to receive the reports, Faulkner said.
The monitoring program, however, would not have worked properly with a Linux partition in use, Faulkner testified.
