My sister turned up covid positive today. I panicked. The hospitals are full. They told me to care for her at home as long as on oxygen her levels are over 89. They wont let me, as a caretaker, in with her to the hospital, as long as she is covid positive but they say her booster is fighting it. My 14 days now starts over. Who really cares about me. I asked Christian what will happen to us. I am so scared.

89 Oxygen stats is too low!

Anything below 97 is concerning. Head to the ER if it gets to 95.

TW they said because of her COPD her O2 will be low. Anything above 90 is good for her. The question before this covid was which would win first COPD or Dementia? Watching someone die because they can't breath abd their lungs have given out is a terrible way die. Of course I have seen many terrible ways to die.

Sats of 95% are normal TW, normal range is 94-100%. We often see sats of 91-92% in covid. Below 90% people need to be considering hospital.
