Average Gas price in California.
$5.00 a gallon.
Average Petrol price in the UK.
(1.70 pounds per Litre)
7.75 pounds per gallon.
Or
$10.15 USD per gallon.

Yes, Biden shut down the KeyStone pipeline a few days after he took office.
Russian gas/oil imports accounts for only 3% in USA. Our gas prices have been going up since Biden took office, before the War.
There is no reason for USA gas prices to go up.
This appears to be orchestrated.
1) Download & use the Gas Buddy app to your phone.
2) Get gas from a warehouse club —> Sam’s Club or Costco.
3) Public transportation is free in many places right now. The bus in Raleigh, NC is free until July & children aged 13-18 can ride free if they get a specific card from GoRaleigh Transit.
Thanks for the prayers T. W. I don't know much about common core curriculum. I do know that this country's educational system sometimes shortchanges the brighter students. I also know that other countries do not and that is why their students outperform the u. S. students on standardized tests.

Someone else reminded me the Keystone Pipeline was shut down because it was leaking oil and it was on sacred tribal lands. Papa Smurf did the right thing for possibly the wrong reason. That pipeline was not properly engineered & had no business being on sacred lands.

You are right, we are blessed to have a car. That reminds me of the parable about the person complaining about their cheap shoes. Then they saw someone who had no feet.
As for Common Core Math Curriculum, it is confusion. I personally know math professors. One of them called it 💩 and both of them told me Common Core Math is not taught at the college level. They said people who learned it in school end up having to take remedial math once they get to college.
I do not understand your comment about brighter students being shortchanged. Common Core Math helps no one. I think you are saying American public schools are watering down the curriculum, so less bright students are helped. I disagree.
I was once a professional tutor. All grades. “Dumbing down” the curriculum hurts everyone.
