That poor hair and scalp burning he went through in the 80's.
I always thought that the burning to his scalp was the beginning to the life long pain killers he took which got him using propofol in the latter years.
Quiet, you are correct. Michael must have suffered some nerve damage or he was given narcotics when he didn't need them. He suffered third degree burns on his scalp. Nerves are destroyed with these kinds of burns. Explains the wigs too.
