I have compassion for immigrants.
No further comment on this matter due to Foot in Mouth Disease.

PS. Read Anne Franks Diary when I was 12 yrs old. One of the best books I've read
I read it too when young. And I made sure my daughter read it. Sadly alot kids dont read it anymore.
Perhaps there will be a modern eqivalant coming. A new book. With the same impact.
The other day he had his birthday.
At Auschwitz.... in Poland. Yes you read that right.
He just happened to be there.
How you just happened to be in Auschwitz on your birthday is anyone's guess. But this is Rodrigo.
Anyway, Rodrigo had his his birthday pic taken there.
On the famous Auschwitz's train tracks. That transported Hitler's victims into the concentration camp there.
He then covered the pic in celebratory emoticons.
And then posted it to Social Media. Now taken down.
Needless to say, that The Auschwitz Museum and Poland aint too happy with Rodrigo.
It gets worse.
He has just signed a 4 year contract with a German Football club... Eintracht Frankfurt.
But is on loan to Poland currently.
Won't be long before they give back what they borrowed.
Also, Germany will view him as a PR Nightmare.
He is.
Everything you said is the truth.
Didn't a lot of the Nazis hightail it out of Germany and lived la vida local in South America?
Yes. When the Nazis finally had to surrender to the Allies.
Some had the brains to run to South America before that.
Some Germans who never believed in any Nazi Ideology but were forced into the War. Escaped to South America too.
A good example was Oskar Schindler and his long suffering wife, Emilie Pelz.
Oskar Schindler was the man they made the famous Hollywood movie, Schindlers List about.
I say long suffering wife. Because Oskar Schindler was hardly a saint as a husband.
And hate to break the news to people who adore him. He was worse than an unfaithful husband. Kinda lazy.
Emilie his wife did most of the work to save 1000 Jews. By running...usually singlehandedly. Oskar's Enamelware factory in Poland during WW2.
They actually had a total of 1750 workers. Lotta work.
They deliberately employed Jews to protect them from deportation and death. At very high risk to Oskar and Emilie Schindler.
I'm not claiming Oskar Schindler's connections working for Military Intelligence Service (The Abwehr) Service to learn Train/Troop movements etc wasn't heroic. And dangerous.
Not at all. It was. Very.
Just saying that I think it was disgusting that Hollywood, the Director Steven Speilberg portrayed Oskar Schindler as a single man. Doing it all himself. Is totally inaccurate.
In between seeing his many girlfriends, Oskar Schindler paid big bribes/gifts he could not afford to Nazi Officials for info. To save Jews.
He was arrested more than once for espionage. The Czechs even jailed him for awhile.
When Germany was losing the war. He and Emilie... at great risk. Moved the factory and the Jewish employees to former Bohemia Moravia. To prevent the Germans murdering their Jewish employees.
He achieved this move by his friendship with the pathologically murderous SS Commandant of Krakow Concentration Camp, Amon Goth. By tricking him.
Ralph Fiennes plays Amon Goth very well in Schindlers List, the movie. And as people will remember... the actor Liam Neeson played Oskar Schindler. Really well.
The Schindlers settled in Argentina after WW2. And yet again, Oskar left Emilie to run his business there. Alone.
Oskar Schindler is justifiably revered by the Jewish community. There is a memorial to him in Israel.
But where is the Memorial for Emilie? There is none.
Emilie Schindler wrote a little known book about her part in Oskar's life and WW2. It's called Where Light And Shadow Meet. A Memoir.
A very moving book. Its kind to remember too. That everything she risked she could have been executed for.
Yes. I knew that was a typo. I'm not a femi - Nazi. LoL. Well maybe a little bit.
But Emilie Schindler's elimination by Steven Spielberg pisses me off. Big time.
To make Oskar Schindler the Star of The WW2 Show. WTF for? Emilie Schindler being featured in that movie would have made women love it more.
It's a great movie.
But C'mon Hollywood directors. Read her book. Remake the movie. With Emilie Schindler featured in the way should have been in the 1st place. Her rightful place in history.
Chicks will love it. And alot of men too I guess.
If they cast her as hot.
I thought Schindler's List was boring. But see, it's not politically correct to say that in public.
Bored?
I guess a movie about the extermination of Jews by Hitler and the Nazis isnt Hollywood.
But it was an important movie. It educated a generation of people. Actually more than that.
About what actually happened.
Understanding what happened and how it happened. Is the best way to avoid allowing that again in future.
Some of Hollywood's more Flaky films. And Rom Com's bore me to death.
Movie Bosses. Mmmmm...They don't want you to learn anything.
At least not too much.
Praying that someone steps forward and stops this insanity. Praying that the child in question that Christian has seen finds comfort peace, love happiness and is safe.
I agree with you, a film about the Holocaust is not meant to entertain.
I will rephrase.
Schindler's List did not hold my attention. I have seen many documentaries and films about wars and genocides. Something about this film did not hold my interest, I think the fault lies with Spielberg.
By this I am saying that I have NEVER liked a Steven Spielberg film. I even slept through E.T.!
Amen.
Yes. I understand what you meant. And I think making Schindlers List in black and white made it unintentionally boring in places.
Steven Spielberg the director of it claims he did it in black and white for a reason.
The only colour in the Movie is a lttle Jewish girl. Her red coat . That's it.
He did this cause he wanted the audience to notice her... alot. Follow her. Her pathway through the film.. Till her death.
How in the separation from her mother. She gets lost in the deportation process. And is eventually lost within the Nazis organisation of mass extermination of Jews.
I beleive it was based on a real little girl.
This movie could be made. Again.
With the Trump Administration's illegal migrant border crisis as its subject. And the detaining of migrant children as its subject/focus. Everything about the result of this political crisis..fiasco...Jailed migrant children separated from their parents.
Its very similar to what happened everywhere in WW2.
I think a movie will be made in future... on this very modern shameful piece of American history.
Eventually.
The black and white did not bother me. I love the older films of yesteryear.
In my opinion, Steven Spielberg sucks. That's just opinion, not fact.
