Sounds like he needs more than their support to pull this off.
And can he rely on Trump for support through it all this week?
Well. Trump's a bit busy. Hes got headaches of his own.
As most know...2 of Saudi Arabia's largest oil processing plants called Aramco, got attacked by drones this week.
By its neighbour Yemen. Mmmmore specifically Yemeni Houthi Rebels. Yeah i know, they sound like an 1980's Synth Band.
But no, they are a persistent pain in the arse to Saudi Arabia. And the young Saudi Arabian Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has tried for years. To eradicate them. With a Saudi-led coordinated war against them. With plenty of military help from other countries. Hasnt worked.
The country's that tried for years to help eradicate them, have given up. Packed up and gone home.
Which has pissed the Saudi Prince Mohammed Bin Salman off.
I can see why. Because it wouldn't surprise me that the reason the Houthi Rebels got away with these attacks on big Saudi Oil Processing. Is because there are no longer structures to control the Houthis.
This Saudian Arabian Prince can no longer get anyone to finance the un-winnable War against Houthis. And get enough protection.
After this week. This may change.
A further problem for Trump (And Saudi Arabia) is that the Houthis are Iran aligned.
And Saudi Arabia is an ally to America. So the U.S has to take a position on this.
And. These latest attacks are on what are the largest Oil Processing plants in the world. The world is dependent on them.
The Saudi Arabians will quickly restore production. But long term something has to be done about Houthi Rebels. Not long ago they attacked Saudi Air Bases.
Mike Pompeo is fully aware how outa control the Houthis are.
But so far, while the Trump administration is showing alot of support for Saudi Arabia through this. They claim they are still unconvinced it was Iran backed Yemeni Houthis. They are determined it was Iran. Pure and simple.
Iran is the strongest suspect I guess. Whether they are hiding behind Yemeni Houthis or not.
Because of the amount of conflict in the Persian Gulf since May. And the fact that the U.S and European countries are following strictly... the sanctions against Iran.
No one is allowed to buy Iranian oil.
It's painting the Iranians into a hopeless corner.
But when any of them, Houthi Yemenis or Iranians decide to attack the world's energy supply. The goal posts move altogether.
The fact is, energy markets must be protected.
And quite boldy, Iran have already stated
'if we cannot export oil in the region then no one else is going to either.
That's says it all. And reveals the culprits.
Brexit is just the UK withdrawing from the union of European European nations. The E.U
The EU is an economic and political partnership.
Where a single market allows goods, services and people (Europeans) to move freely across all the E.U nations who joined the E.U. With no proper borders.
The UK wants out of it because it's costing them more than they anticipated when they first joined this Union in a big way. Among other things that pisses them off about being in it.
They were in it years ago.
But not so completely.
