Well said Cordelia.

And there's nothing I dislike more.

Than liars.

The ease with which some of them do it....really annoys me.

God bless you Cordelia. You really ought to collect these quotes & put them in a book. I will buy it.

This impeachment trial is a joke and I want it off my television. I need money for cable. At least the figure skating championships begin broadcasting tomorrow. I didn’t buy tickets (they are in Greensboro, NC this year) but I noticed the crowds are thin. Hopefully I can see Cirque du Soleil in August. Maybe with a nice male friend. British accent is a plus! I need to be married off. God help me and my hormones...

McConnell and Graham didn’t violate their oath; they made a determination based on a complete record of the House investigation.
According to Rules of Procedure and Practice in the Senate When Sitting on Impeachment Trials, before considering the articles of impeachment, the presiding officer shall administer the following oath to the members of the Senate: “I solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be) that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of [...], now pending, I will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: So help me God.”

That oath isn’t the same as the oath administered to members of a jury in a jury trial, as mentioned by Sen. Cruz. Some restrictions that often apply in a criminal or civil trial don’t necessarily apply in the impeachment context, such as sequestration of jurors or the inability to discuss the case with other people, including those in the White House.

McConnell's comments were made after hearing all testimony and evidence presented during the inquiry phase which was the right time for investigation, as reflected by the public hearings, closed-door questioning, etc. As far as McConnell's concerned, the record is complete, and rightly so.

I love watching figure skating too.

But I want them to skate to more modern music.

Hits of the day.

I prefer it when they make skating fun.

The skaters have been using modern music for over 4 years now. The amateur skaters in all disciplines were allowed to start using songs with lyrics after the Sochi Olympics. A lot of the music choices have been horrendous.

Lovenest.......

So here's a photo of  Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart's  "Lovenest" How cute..... It also happens to be where Roberts dogs where staying while he was down under. So is he staying there due to her, or the dogs. Ermm. My bets on the dogs. Before long we'll see the moving vans. As he gets to the point of no return. Mind you the PR team must be loving all this publicity. Oh well. As they say money goes to money......  Bear & Bernie
