I don't envy Amber Heard in any way.
Because she is learning some hard lessons in this life time.
For a start, Istanbul, like the rest of Turkey is run in a very authoritarian way.
Controlled by one political party.
And generally the Turkish government jail people ....for anything.
Especially activists.
So disrespectful Western actresses would anger them. In a big way too.
And there would be public support for it.
The Turkish government have recently jailed the Turkish Amnesty International Official, Idil Eser for 2 years.
On B.S Terrorism charges.
Without any evidence whatsoever.
The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan survived a Coup attempt in 2016.
So he's trying to wrestle back power any way he can.
And he isn't about to let activists get power.
They have a name for what Amber Heard has done in Istanbul.
And a law.
And also, anyone who steps out of line in Turkey. Is branded a subversive.
I wouldn't holiday in Turkey if you paid me.

And experts are claiming this puts it at risk as an ancient monument.

I wonder if they still have them. Turkey's Northern border has become like the new Gaza.

Well Turkey have taken control of a long part of Syrian Territory at it's Southern border.
When you went to Turkey. You were right next door to Syria.
Right now there are 4 million Sunni Arabs stuck there. In that location.
I would love to see Istanbul.
But I could never get comfortable with the major conflicts that erupt on their border.
All the time.
The border is very militarily controlled and very unstable.
Added to that, there any number of Islamist radical factions in Turkey.
With their own agendas.

Yesterday, the judge in Virginia who’s handling Johnny Depp’s case, discharged Johnny’s lead counsel, attorney Adam Waldman, who was thrown off the defamation case !! .... For allegedly leaking information to the press that was supposedly harmful to Amber !?!?.... kinda of unbelievable seeing as that’s been Amber’s strategy. Any thoughts about this ?....seems unbelievable. Adam has been really helpful in Johnny’s pursuit of justice and clearing his name / exposing Amber’s hoax. It seemed odd that the judge made this call.
