Does anybody find it interesting that Meghan's family has been very quiet for a long, long, long time now. I find this odd. Me thinks somebody paid the family off to shut up. Seriously.

Like Jules suggested, Meghan is channeling Kim Kardashian these days. Her obvious thick fake hair, which is something I just do not understand because I always thought Meghan had naturally beautiful hair, so why is she now wearing a weave or hair extensions? It isn't a good look, Meghan. I realize the monarchy probably had a rule about wearing hair extensions, but I never saw Meghan in any prior photos with fake "hair."
I also find this new photo very odd. How strange for Meghan to be looking down laughing and not at the camera, as if she's got something to hide. Her apparent expensive jewellery (Princess Diana's?) and deliberate hand/arm placement is a must for people to see, but why? It's pretentious and show boating. Harry is the royal, you don't see him all decked out in tiaras, diamonds and gold. Is this like a middle finger to the royals? The queen? Wiliam and Kate? Pretending that everything is just ducky and they are loaded? Or ?????
And speaking of Harry, there he sits, like an elegantly posed stuffed teddy bear with a forced smile. Meghan's arm draped over his leg, I find that almost as interesting as when she clasps her hand around Harry's, as if to take control. She's dominant in the image, not Harry.
This couple does indeed fascinate me. And where the heck is Archie? People want to see this kid. I'd be willing to bet there isn't one molecule of Meghan's DNA in Archie. I also believe that she knew she could never have children when she married Harry, but that wasn't going to stop her from marrying a rich, royal prince.
Hopefully CD can fill us in on what's happening with these two characters.

Was it gifted? Did she "borrow" it and not return it? Did Harry? I don't know.
What I do think is that either Meghan or her PR firm released that photo to the press and added the information about the jewelery.
I believe Meghan wanted that information known. The question is WHY.

Their PR firm should be fired. So many people have lost their jobs, their income, their businesses, their homes, their relatives to COVID-19.
No doubt some people had to sell THEIR jewelery just to pay rent or feed their families.
And here this entitled bitch sits for a professional photographer intentionally showcasing her expensive jewelery.
It's so inappropriate. Real people with wealth do NOT flaunt their riches. If she had just sat next to Harry in a "normal" way equal to Harry's posture, I personally would have no objection. The photo is rumored to be for their public speaking engagement representative's website or whatnot. I don't expect too many people are going to hire these two entitled idiots and pay their desperate, ridiculous, outrageous fee.
And someday perhaps, Meghan will have to sell her expensive jewelery to pay rent or eat. What goes around, comes around.

You are right. Flaunting wealth is poor taste and oftentimes a sign that the person is neveau riche.
Even before the economy tanked I get disgusted seeing celebrities showcase their 10,000 room mansions. Shoot, some of them own several homes!
Why does Floyd Mayweather need a fleet of personal cars? How many cars can one person drive at once?
I understand that many wealthy people do charity work in secret. However, why would you want to showcase your mansion in Architectural Digest and then wonder why you got robbed?
Some people would love to have a tiny apartment to live in right now.
In my area, families live in cheap motel rooms because it's cheaper than paying rent and utilities. It makes me cry.
From personal observation and experience I can say that people who are truly down and out rarely beg. They are to embarrassed to do so.
There some people in my town who I know for a fact stay in homeless shelters. I've never seen them beg, never heard them ask for anything. If you offer food and water instead of cash they are so happy.
One time I was out of town with relatives. We had food but were not able to finish it. Someone came to the car and asked for money. We offered food instead. The man took it and when we drove off he told a female, "We are eating good tonight!"
Another time we were at a gas station. A relative had a pizza pie, he couldn't finish. A man begged for money. The relative offered the pizza, the man happily took it.
Also, beggars where I live ALWAYS come out at certain times of the month. Funny how they always manage to find a piece of cardboard and a permanent marker to make a sign. You know they share signs.
Funny how some of the beggars have a ring of keys, wear expensive shoes, and one woman was even talking on an iPhone!
A few years ago police asked a couple to stop begging and move on. Guess what.
They drove off in a CADILLAC.
One man flat out said he lives in a group home. The group home drops them off at certain locations to beg for money. He said he makes more in a day than most people earn in a month. He was high fiving other beggars while shopping at Walmart. Dude had over a thousand dollars cash. I heard him spill the tea with my own ears.
In my city, most of the homeless are well cared for. No one goes hungry and everyone has a roof over their head especially once it turns winter.
We have donations for the homeless from individuals, big oil companies, law firms, and generous wealthy people who support the city's homeless foundation and other important charities.
And for those people who are not homeless but struggling to put food on the table, we have well stocked foodbanks, and again, all from the generosity and kindness of strangers.
Not all homeless people have addictions.
Anyone can become a homeless person.
And those individuals who pretend to be homeless or poor by taking advantage of other's generosity, should be fined or jailed or both.
