2020 is no joke.
My question is - was it murder by lethal injection or by an enema laced with chloral hydrate and barbiturates?
According to one of the doctors who did the autopsy, her colon was purple which made her biographer Donald Spoto suspect it was a lethal enema, plus there was no pills found in her stomach.
The housekeeper Eunice Murray was seen washing her sheets early in the morning, August 5 1962, which suggests they could have been soiled from the enema or she may have vomited.
There were rumours her shrink Dr Ralph Greenson was obsessed with her or had an affair with her.
There is also the needle theory - that Greenson or someone injected Marilyn after she was revived, and that ended her life.
But the injection theory was rejected at the time as there were no needle marks found on her. However, it has recently been said that if a body is laid a certain way the blood stops needle marks from being visible.
The inquest into her death was a joke - the findings came out on August 17 1962 - just 12 days after her death. It was like it was all planned and the report was already written.
How bizarre, guess what song is on my radio right now - Candle in the Wind. Talk about synchronicities!
Also SO ahead of her time omg one of it was when she apparently went to this nightclub every week as she made the manager promise her in turn to let a black woman sing there or something. I think the woman became a famous singer later I don't know much about her though.
She wasn't perfect of course, she slept married men or whatever but who in her place would be perfect. Like it would be A little bit unrealistic to expect going through that kind of a life and coming out a completely normal person. I don't really like pop culture I don't involve myself that much in it but she's one of the few that has my respect always.
