Sounds to me like the parents knew or should have known what was going on. I read reports claiming Michael would gift the parents with cars,cash, and jewelry.
I found Jimmy’s mom strange. She laughed in parts when recalling Michael and also thought of him as a son. She admitted Michael bought them a house in return for support. Jimmy seemed more closed and it affected his marriage although they are together and have children.
The bottom line is I don’t know how both families allowed their children to spend so much time with a grown man. They are at fault no question.
