There was a protest in Raleigh a few days ago. Local news covered some of it. Few people were wearing masks & the signs were ridiculous.
Now here’s the best part.
These people waited until there was a week left of the lockdown to protest the lockdown. If they were truly upset they would have protest sooner.
But us Truthers & Conspiracy Theorists are the crazy ones...
Missed this interesting comment.
I had a read about this protest in a town called Raleigh.
Their argument for reopen is based on their beliefs that this is how Nazi Germany started.
I think some more educated people would argue that the way Nazi Germany started was a bit more complicated than this.
But the deeper aspect of their agument was 'it's unconstitutional'. To shut down N.C.
But seems there were counter protesters there that day.
Healthcare workers. Who stood on the other side of the line begging them to not encourage ReOpen
measures.
A section of the protesters were there because they are so worried about food running out.
And that 'all pay checks are essential'
Good point.
But the leader of ReOpen N.C, Ashley Smith was arrested at this protest. And 3 others.
And guy I believe.
I watched a video of alot of it.
Jeez they arrest and handcuff people over nothing in the U.S.
It astounds me.
And how the cops can claim one of the girls was resisting arrest is rather imaginative.
Don't think so coppers.
No. Actually...There was no way she was resisting.
She was just shouting.
The cops were very heavy handed on these people.
And got away with it.
Cause at the time social distancing laws were in place.
