I tend to think all movies depicting Diana are hammy. Kinda silly
And fake.
The 2013 one, simply called Diana. With Naomi Watts playing Diana. Was very hammy in places.
And as this new movie is going to be called Spencer. Are they going to be showing Diana when she was 18 and 19. The period just before and after she got engaged to Prince Charles.
If so, Kristen Stewart is not young enough to play that part.
Prince Charles was regularly at Althorp.. Diana's family mansion. At those ages...possibly younger.
Initally he was there, because he was datimg Diana's elder sister, Sarah for a while.
If they cast an English actress...this would work.
But Kristen Stewart?
It doesn't work.
It doesn't feel right.
Kristen Stewart is also a very modern woman. An American.
And bisexual.
She has nothing in common with this character. People say that shouldn't matter. A good actress can pull it off. And adapt.
But Kristen Stewat is too well known for her Twilight movie character.
And her only other identity is...well, being Kristen Stewart.
Dating girls and
Smoking weed.
And never smiling.
Definately no smiling.
The people who have cast her in this Diana movie are crazy.
Yeah Kristen Stewart has a passing resemblance to Diana.
But that's where it ends.
Anyway there's lots of other actresses. That have similar looks to Diana.

Kirsten Stewart is completely the wrong person to play Diana. Also she’s too short Diana was about 5’10. It will be a flop for sure.

But you know, I'm always amazed at the jewellery princesses get given when they marry.
Diana was given by Crown Prince of Saudia Arabia, the 'Saudi Suite' when she married. As a gift.
A ridiculously expensive collection of, necklace, watch, bracelet, ring, earrings and diamond necklace.
You will see Kate wearing the Sapphire earrings to it. But she wears them in a drop style.
When Diana travelled to Oman in 1986, the Sultan Of Oman gave her a set of crescent shaped geometric diamond and Sapphire necklace, earings and bracelet.
She often wore them with the Spencer tiara.
A tiara that Diana's brother demanded back one day. In a rude hurtful letter.
The Spencer Tiara once belonged to Lady Sarah Spencer.... in 1875.
And belonged to Vicountess Montagu.
Diana's older sisters, Jane and Sarah wore the Spencer Tiara on their wedding days.
As did Diana. As Diana refused the Queen's offer of old Queen Mary's tiara for her wedding day.
What I find strange is. In all of Diana's jewellery collection. People most often, gave her Sapphires.
Was it because of her blue eyes?
Diana left all her jewellery to be divided between Harry and William's future wives.
Although Meghan has got quite a bit of Diana's jewellery. Kate got the other half.
And William and Harry have sold off quite a bit of their mother's jewellery. At auction.
Alot of it returned immediately to the Queen though on Diana's passing.
The Queen's mother gave Diana some very expenive jewellery on her marriage. I wonder if William and Harry sold that.
Contrary to what people believe. The new ring Diana was wearing when she died. Was a £3,000 Bulgari ring...a gift from Dodi.
Paul Burrell advised her in a phone call. To wear it on her 4th right finger.
The real engagement ring Dodi had bought. Presumably for Diana. Was a rather cheap (by Diana's standards) £11,000 ring. Dodi had bought for Diana when they were in monte Carlo. It's believed Diana never received the ring.
Because it was retreived from Dodi's flat still with it's receipt after his death.
That ring is called a Dis-moi Oui ring.

And if I had go out in a Tiara for the night with my husband.

It didn't bring her happiness.
She probably envied slightly women she knew, who had loving husbands. Who yes...treated their wives as a jewel.
And didn't cheat on them.
Prince Charles whines and moans about his lack of popularity.
Well he did all the cheating. Lying. Emotionally abusing Diana. All his life.
Despite being ordered in a way by his parents, the Queen and Prince Phillip to stop it.
Stop the cheating.
But no. Charles does what he wants.
In everything.
The Press hounded him over his cheating.
His aristocratic mob that he moved with hoped he'd stop it.
But no for 2 decades. He continued.
And now seems to claim he doesn't understand why the public don't like him.
It's a no brainer.
Men can keep their jewels.
And I'll retain my sanity.
An independant income is far more useful to women anyway.
The song, Diamonds Are A Girl's best friend.
Came from a different era.
But really the meaning of that song was that if you have expensive jewellery.
You can always pawn it.
And turn it into instant money.
Like any other modern woman, I prefer a more consistent reliable source of income.
And buy my own jewellery.
If I want it.
Why do girls & women want to look like a princess on their wedding day? Why be a princess when you can be the Queen?
As for the jewelry, yes, it feels good when we can but our own jewelry that isn’t paste. But it’s nice to receive valuable gifts too.
I’ve had jewelry in the past but I had to sell it for the metal so we could eat. The jewelry contained diamonds but people, let me tell you. If you don’t have investment grade (flawless) gemstones then you will get 0 for the stones. You’ll only get market rate for the metal.
