Yes. I thought for years when I was a kid. That Yorkshire pudding. Was an actual sweet pudding.
Until I sat down to christmas lunch in the UK. And there it was.
As a savoury accompaniment to English Roast Beef.
And they love it.
I liked it too.
It must have been one of the few food customs that didn't come to Australia when the English migrated here. Or were transported here.
To the Penal colony.
In my veiw it's still a Penal Colony in Australia, in many ways. Lol
What with all the crime that goes on in Australia today. But now, Australians are alot of The Fun Lovin Criminals.
Where I live. Burning people's houses down has become a crime of choice.
Why I don't know.
