Here in Canada, I've seen and heard nothing but good things about the late Queen Elizabeth. Wonderful things.
As it should be.
I would not want to hear anything negative about her.
Most Canadians loved the Queen and they love the Royals.
I feel for Prince Charles as he was very close to his Mum.
Also, imagine being thrust into a heavy-duty role with enormous responsibility while in your senior years. You can perform a job with duty, but without the love of the job, it becomes a prison sentence.
I don't think Charles is going to love this new role. If anything, it might cause him undue stress and affect his health in the worst way.
Britain and the Royal family are definitely entering a new era. Change, change, and more change.
We all better hope it was just that -- a scary vision!
The drama of those two (you know who) added tremendous stress in her final days and probably hastened it while acknowledging that when one spouse of a very long term couple passes, the other often follows sooner rather than later. Still she did not need that stress.
