A couple of years ago I didn’t do yearly predictions.
As they were very dark.
Well, almost same this year.
So dark, I almost didn’t do any.
But then a thought.
Do them Nostradamus style.

I have never seen that movie Contagion.
I noticed in the news today even Bali Airport is completely deserted.
It’s NEVER deserted.
This is getting crazy. I was at a supermarket and as people have bought out all the toilet roll.... the supermarket worker was giving them out just one per family.
All the tissues were gone off the shelves.
Mmmm. The Doomsday Preppers will love all this.
They spend their entire lives preparing for this kinda thing.
All I care about is if I have enough cat food.
Cause my cat is Meowgical.
And the love of my life.
Unfortunately he is a natural born killer of Australian wildlife though.
As he’s a night time serial killer of all sorts of animals. He brings home dead or half dead.
Very disturbing.
Australia definitely HAS to start phasing cats out of the country I’m afraid. They are killing so many of our small mammals, rodent and marsupial species. And birds.
But cat lovers will go crazy if they introduce the law. To ban them.
Last year the Australian government dropped 1000’s of poisoned sausages throughout bushland and forests. To kill feral cats. Kilometres and kilometres of sausages.
The aim was ...to kill 2 million Feral cats by this year. And the baiting of them actually started in 2015.
It doesn’t kill other wildlife. Only foxes. Which are not native.
They do it as an airdrop.
We have no natural native species of cats in Australia, like other countries.
So cats populating our forests have a devastating effect.
They are extremely skilful hunters.
The animal welfare orgs went crazy about the Poisoning baiting proposal.
Even Bridgitte Bardot wrote and complained about to our government.
Wait till Pamela Anderson finds out about it.
You are sweet to love & care for your cat.
As for prepping, the time to do it is when things are “normal.” People tend to buy the wrong things when there is a crisis. Even if they know what to get they go about it wrong or the items are sold out.
Yes. Agree. When you are stressed you cannot think straight.
Doomsday preppers are the ultimate in preparedness.
Good question. What eats the cats after they are baited with poison sausages?
Well. I'm pretty sure they have that figured out.
And a scientist came up with the magic sausage formula. And. Chose a meat that appeals most to feral cats in Australia.
Kangaroo meat.
But I don't think feral cats have a predator in Australia. That eats them.
And that's the problem.
There are so many of these feral cats.
And they aint sweet like my cat.
They are vile and agressive. They can't be domesticated back.
There is a huge animal welfare issue here. Even with them using Kangaroo meat to bait them.
Im really aware of that. And its all regrettable in my view.
Just to let those outside Australia know...we can buy Kangaroo Steaks in our meat dept at our grocery stores here. Plenty buy it. And eat it regularly.
But not me.

Someone one town over from me is under quarantine. People went to Walmart & it is sold out. Some people purchased 2 shopping carts full of food.
I live in a poor neighborhood but I am walking distance from 2 grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, & other stores. They had food & supplies.
People always go to Walmart first.
