So let me tell you about my  “ Virgin Media ”   Drama today. I spent 2 hours trying to sort out how to get my iphone . To be able to work in the UK. It is unlocked so no problem there. However when i tried to sign up for “SERVICE”. i was nicely helped by three sperate operators. All of them did their best to help. In fact I would say they did go out of their way to help. So the following is no reflection on them, at all. However on the management of said  “VIRGIN MEDIA” . Another matter completely. After going through all the hoops and whatever to get this done. Been told the best deal for me. 5000 minutes 5Gb, thousands of texts. X amount of data. We come to the payment part. I start to tell them my bank details so they can get their. Twenty five pounds for 30 days. When.... TROUBLE. You see the “GLOBAL” company that is  “VIRGIN”. Doesn’t accept America/foreign issued debit/credit cards. THey tell me that their system is not set up to accept any other then British c...
